Why it matters

The difference your voice makes

We believe in the power of migrant workers coming together in solidarity. Our diverse skills, experiences, languages and cultures are our strength. By getting involved, you help build collective power to shape the systems that affect our lives and overcome the barriers our communities face.

Multicultural Safety Ambassador Program

At the heart of the Centre.

Our Multicultural Safety Ambassador Program builds on the strength, trust, and connections within migrant communities. We support community leaders to share information and connect workers to help in ways that are culturally safe, accessible, and grounded in lived experience.

Our Ambassadors bring valuable language skills, cultural knowledge, and community leadership. They play a vital role in promoting work health and safety, helping workers understand their rights, and supporting them to make informed decisions about their work.

By making information more accessible and trusted, Ambassadors help break down barriers such as language, visa concerns, isolation, and insecure work, barriers that often prevent workers from seeking support.
